A: Our meal plans subscription business is a service that provides busy parents with healthy and delicious lunch boxes for their children and adolescents on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. We relieve parents of the trouble of cooking, preparing, and choosing healthy meals and ingredients for their children’s lunchboxes. Children and adolescents can enjoy delicious, highly nutritious meals hassle-free without the need for you to disrupt your busy schedule.

Q: What age group is your lunchbox service for?

A: Our meal plans are designed for children and adolescents from the ages of 4 and up.

Q: What types of meals are included in your service?

A: Our lunchbox meal plans include a variety of healthy and delicious options, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks. You can view our sample menu for details on our website: yummybento.com/menu. You will receive a new different meal everyday from our menu selection.

Q: Where/When/How do you deliver?

A: We currently deliver daily all across the UAE using temperature-controlled chiller vans.

• Please note that our default delivery option is to leave your thermal bag on your doorstep unless otherwise instructed.

• Please note that we offer two types of subscription plans. We have a plan with 10 days of delivery and a monthly subscription plan with 20 days of delivery.

No deliveries will be made on Fridays and Saturdays.

• Please note that orders have to be placed at least 3 days in advance before the expected delivery date.

Q: Can I choose a specific meal to be delivered?

A: We currently deliver a different meal from our set menu everyday, unfortunately at the moment subscribers cannot select a specific meal to be delivered.

Q: What to do with the bento lunch box after I finished my food?

A: You are kindly requested to leave the empty lunch box in the bag at the doormat for collection on a daily basis and the driver will pick it up and leave your new bag and lunch box at the doormat.

Q: How to store the bento when received?

A: When receiving Yummy Bento meals, it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the food is refrigerated and safely stored.

•Make sure to remove the bento cover and the fruits compartment before heating your lunch bento in an oven or a microwave.

-Do not overheat your food to avoid ruining the bento food decorations. If you wish to heat do so with extra care.

Q: How often do you update your meal plans?

A: We update our meal plans on a regular basis to ensure that there is always something new and exciting for our customers. We also take into account seasonal ingredients and special occasions when planning our menus.

Q: How do I sign up for your lunchbox subscription service?

A: You can sign up for our lunchbox subscription service on our website. Simply order through our website: yummybento.com and choose the plan that works best for you and your family, and then provide us with your information and payment details.

Q: Can I request certain ingredients?

A: Sorry, we currently cannot accommodate individual requests for specific ingredients or recipes.

Q: What if I have food allergies?

A: We currently do not accommodate allergies. Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, nuts, gluten, or eggs. We cannot be held responsible for any food allergies that may occur as a result of consuming our food.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

P.S: These changes need 48 hours to be effective.

Please be aware that cancellation does not mean a refund. In case of any unsatisfactory quality or service please contact us and we will make it right.

Q: How do you ensure the quality and safety of your meals?

A: We have experienced chefs and nutritionists to create our meal plans, and we source our ingredients from trusted local suppliers. We also follow strict food safety guidelines and use packaging and temperature-controlled chiller vans that are designed to keep the meals fresh during transit. We maintain the highest hygiene standards to ensure the cleanliness of all ingredients and bento boxes used.

Q: Do you offer a free trial?

A: We do not offer a free trial at this time, but we do offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right.

Q: How/When do I pay?

A: In order to purchase a subscription from our website, you need to order and pay online by credit card 72 hours before the desired delivery day.

  • Full payment must be received 3 working days before the desired start date for either new or renewed meal plan, otherwise food delivery will not proceed.

Q: What is your refund policy?

No refunds: Yummy Bento has a zero refund policy, however, if you wish to stop your package midway for any reason, you can either freeze your package to restart it later or transfer your credits to a friend by contacting us by email at: Hello@yummybento.com

Q: Can I freeze my subscription?

A: Yes, you can freeze your subscription and unfreeze it as long as you do it 48 hours in advance just send us an email at: Hello@yummybento.com

  •  Subscriptions on hold are valid for a period of 6 months.
